  After my initial claim it took 2 months to even get someone to look at my roof. It was excuse after excuse. Then when I kept calling to get someone after the 2 months, they said well you should get a tarp on your roof since it's been so long. Like it was my fault mother nature kept producing rain and they couldn't get someone to my house. I got two separate adjusters out there who said it wasn't enough damage to warrant insurance honoring my claim. By accident they sent ME the check that was supposed to go the adjuster. The adjusting company got $545 to come look at my roof (they also sent me the check of another customer who in term they were paid $420 to look (since it was a smaller claim than mine). Of course they got paid, and Southern Trust will continue to use them so they don't have to honor claims. My roof was leaking in two spots after storms. The cheapest I am going to get it repaired is over $2,500 because they are wanting to save their bottom line. I have had 4 contractors, 1 friend, and an independent adjuster who couldn't believe this. There is no benefit of using Southern Trust and if they are going to deny repairing or replacing anything. This whole ordeal has been over 4 months and now I have to pay out of pocket. My advice, go with a large company because Southern Trust is trying to save their bottom line.
