  For this being my first pregnancy I was worried about having the right doctor for myself and my family and Dr. Mont-Louis is the last person to go to. After coming for three visits I have realized it is time for a change and found someone else. But I just want to give a warning to those who come see her. 1. Her office opens at 9 am. They schedule appointments as early as 9 am. 2/3 of my appointments were set for 9 am. I show up, about 5-10 mins early as I like to make sure everything can be taken care of. They promptly go through the routine check in/blood pressure/pee in a cup and placed me in a room. Then is when you have the waiting game. At my first appointment the nurse said I'll let you know when she gets in (meaning the doctor). And I thought that was rather odd, seeing as she has patients that early why is the doctor not here. I left it up to maybe someone had an emergency at the hospital and she wasn't able to leave, etc. Cut to 11 am and she FINALLY arrived. TWO HOURS AFTER MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME. Then became the rush game. She looks at the baby says everything's great and leaves. Only in the room for less than 5 minutes. Doesn't want to stay around for my questions and just tells me to call the nurse line if I need anything. Boom. Gone. 2. I show up for another 9am appointment. Everything done by the nurses and I'm in the room waiting again. I was told I will be notified when the doctor gets in. I look at my husband stunned. I though last time was a fluke and chalked it up to that. NOPE. Here we are waiting for an hour and a half and she finally gets in. The nurse then pops her head in to tell me the doctor has finally arrived and I ask the nurse out of curiosity does the doctor ever make it in to her actual appointment times??? And the reply I got was laughable. The nurse said no, it's very rare. She has a lot to take care of at the hospital, rounds, etc. OMG.... 3. If the awful set up of her appointments and staff were not enough, their equipment is outdated and WRONG. They checked my blood pressure at my last appointment and it was 196/100. Which is OUTRAGEOUS compared to anywhere I have ever had my blood pressure taken as well as when I check it at home. The nurse then had to retake it 5 times and every time received an error. Finally another nurse came to help and put it on my forearm instead. And the pressure has dropped but was still high as 144/90. This is really out of the normal for me and they refused to check it again or do a manual one. The nurse just left it there because she was tired of dealing with the machine. I promptly checked as soon as I got home and my blood pressure was 119/75. Which is definitely in range to my normal!! I was livid. 4. And the last kicker is when I went to schedule for my next follow up...I decided there was no reason to get up so early to make it for a doctor who is never there and opted for an 11 am appointment. The scheduling woman asked me if I was sure since I would be waiting for all of those people scheduled before me and essentially that my appointment time would have me waiting in the waiting room for an hour or so. I laughed it off knowing good and well I was going to see another doctor. Hopefully my missing causing some space for some other patients. I feel bad for all of those who have to go see her. And I feel a warning needed to be made to those considering her. I
